The Fullerton Hotel Sydney is seeking a charismatic and professionalLobby Ambassadorto enhance the guest experience by creating a warm, welcoming, and refined atmosphere in the hotel's lobby. As the first point of contact for guests arriving and departing, theLobby Ambassadorwill be responsible for maintaining an exceptional arrival experience and ensuring the lobby is always immaculate, welcoming, and comfortable.

The Fullerton Hotel Sydney is an award-winning deluxe hotel set in the heart of Sydney's fashion and finance district. Part of the redevelopment of Sydney's historic General Post Office on Martin Place, this luxurious hotel is surrounded by Sydney's most exclusive designer shopping, best restaurants, theatres and nightlife.
Key Responsibilities:
Lobby Presence and Guest Interaction
- Serve as the main point of contact for all guests entering and departing the hotel, ensuring every guest receives a warm and personalized greeting.
- Establish a strong, positive presence in the lobby at all times, engaging with guests to make them feel valued and welcome.
- Provide an exceptional first impression by ensuring the arrival experience is smooth, seamless, and memorable.
- Ensure guests are promptly assisted with any inquiries, including directions, information about hotel services, and any other special requests.
- Maintain a polished, professional, and approachable demeanour to enhance the overall guest experience.
Lobby Atmosphere and Cleanliness
- Collaborate closely with the Housekeeping team to ensure the lobby and public areas are kept immaculate, regularly checking for any cleanliness or maintenance issues.
- Oversee the cleanliness and presentation of the lobby, ensuring it remains in top-notch condition throughout the day.
- Ensure water stations in the lobby are always stocked with glasses and water, providing guests with a refreshing experience at all times.
- Proactively communicate with the housekeeping team to address any cleanliness concerns immediately, maintaining a seamless environment for guests.
Enhancing Guest Experience and Seasonal Ideas
- Continuously monitor the Lobby atmosphere and explore creative opportunities to elevate the guest experience. Consider implementing seasonal enhancements that align with guest preferences and the changing weather to create a memorable and thoughtful environment.
- Share ideas with the management team on how to improve the lobby environment and guest engagement based on feedback and observations.
- Suggest and implement small touches that contribute to an exceptional lobby experience, furthering the Fullerton Hotel's commitment to delivering extraordinary service.
Collaboration and Teamwork
- Work closely with the Front Desk, Concierge, and housekeeping teams to ensure all aspects of the guest experience are cohesive and well-executed.
- Cooperate with the F&B team to assist with The Place & the Bar reservations, welcoming dining guests, and coordinating the overall lobby experience for restaurant patrons.
- Ensure seamless coordination with all departments to maintain the lobby as a prime area of comfort, warmth, and hospitality.
Service Excellence and Standards Adherence
- Uphold the Fullerton Hotel Sydney's standards of service, maintaining attention to detail and consistently exceeding guest expectations.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up to date with service standards and best practices.
- Proactively identify and resolve any guest concerns or complaints, ensuring they are addressed promptly and professionally.

- A strong passion for hospitality with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests and staff in a warm and approachable manner.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver a consistently exceptional experience.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- An understanding of luxury hotel standards, preferably Forbes and the ability to maintain a high level of service throughout the guest's journey.
- Flexibility and creativity in adjusting the lobby atmosphere to suit seasonal changes and guest preferences.
