Hotel Ambassador Role

The hotel ambassador is responsible for welcoming and farewelling guests in a courteous and professional manner. This role involves assisting guests with inquiries and transportation as needed, providing assistance with the loading and unloading of guest luggage, and ensuring that the porte-cochere area remains clear and clean at all times.

This position requires a high level of customer service skills, with the ability to deliver exceptional experiences to both internal and external guests. The successful candidate will have thorough knowledge of all hotel outlets, local facilities, transportation services, and hotel functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to guests and colleagues
  • Assist guests with inquiries and provide information on hotel services and facilities
  • Coordinate guest arrivals and departures, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the lobby, public areas, and driveway
  • Restrict undesirable characters from entering the hotel and alert security or management if necessary

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, including rooms, restaurants, and amenities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
