Our OpportunityKey Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate behaviour aligned with Fortescue's values and commitment to Zero Harm.
  • Achieve daily production targets safely and efficiently.
  • Operate blast crew equipment and vehicles in accordance with procedures and safety protocols.
  • Maintain a high standard of Drill & Blast pattern preparation.
  • Ensure all equipment is operated and maintained in a safe working condition.
  • Follow instructions from the Drill & Blast Supervisory Team.
  • Actively contribute to team performance and continuous improvement of operational outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a blast crew role
  • Current WA Driver's Licence
  • Hold a Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC)
  • Experience operating stemming loaders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive attitude towards safety and teamwork
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Experience with electronic blasting equipment (desirable, not essential)
