The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced insurance litigation lawyer (PQE3+) to join a growing and high performing team.
You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of complex, high profile, and cutting edge insurance matters, including:
- General and life insurance disputes
- Professional indemnity and financial lines
- Directors' and officers' coverage and defence
- Medical indemnity
- Personal injury, public and product liability
- Regulatory and indemnity advice
The team represents a broad client base, including all major Australian insurers and international underwriters. You'll benefit from strong mentoring, career progression opportunities, and a truly collaborative culture.
Exceptional Legal Professional Required
An exceptional legal professional who is:
- Australian qualified (or dual qualified) with experience in a top-tier national or international firm
- Minimum 3 years PQE, ideally with deep expertise in insurance litigation
- Experienced in defending: D&O and professional indemnity claims, Construction-related disputes, Product and public liability matters, Multi-party litigation and class actions
- Familiar with litigation in all Australian courts and tribunals
- Technically excellent, with strong drafting, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
- Commercially astute and confident in building trusted client relationships
