The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced insurance litigation lawyer (PQE3+) to join a growing and high performing team.

You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of complex, high profile, and cutting edge insurance matters, including:

  • General and life insurance disputes
  • Professional indemnity and financial lines
  • Directors' and officers' coverage and defence
  • Medical indemnity
  • Personal injury, public and product liability
  • Regulatory and indemnity advice

The team represents a broad client base, including all major Australian insurers and international underwriters. You'll benefit from strong mentoring, career progression opportunities, and a truly collaborative culture.

Exceptional Legal Professional Required

An exceptional legal professional who is:

  • Australian qualified (or dual qualified) with experience in a top-tier national or international firm
  • Minimum 3 years PQE, ideally with deep expertise in insurance litigation
  • Experienced in defending: D&O and professional indemnity claims, Construction-related disputes, Product and public liability matters, Multi-party litigation and class actions
  • Familiar with litigation in all Australian courts and tribunals
  • Technically excellent, with strong drafting, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
  • Commercially astute and confident in building trusted client relationships
