Shopify Product & Website Assistant (Freelance / Part-Time)

About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented individual with hands-on experience in Shopify product management and visual merchandising. This person will help organize and refine our online store so that it's beautifully presented, easy to navigate, and optimized for conversion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Upload and organize product images, including model shots and flat lays.
  • Write or refine product titles and descriptions using correct tone and brand voice.
  • Assign products to correct collections, tags, and categories for easy browsing.
  • Ensure SEO optimization: use the right keywords, alt text, and meta descriptions.
  • Maintain consistent image sizing and ensure visuals are properly formatted for desktop and mobile.
  • Check that product variants (color, size, metal, etc.) and pricing are correctly entered.
  • Audit the site to make sure everything is functional and seamless — from product filtering to checkout.
  • Perform light photo editing (cropping, background cleanup, color adjustments) to ensure images are brand-ready.

Ideal Candidate

  • Strong experience with Shopify admin and product uploads.
  • Familiar with Shopify SEO tools and keyword practices.
  • Skilled in basic image editing (Canva, Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar).
  • Eye for aesthetics and brand consistency.
  • Can work independently and meet deadlines efficiently.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with Shopify themes and layout adjustments.
  • Familiarity with Shopify CSV bulk uploads and inventory management.
  • Understanding of e-commerce UX best practices.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
