About the Role

Are you an IT professional looking to step off the tools and into a strategic, customer-facing role? This is a fantastic opportunity to move into pre-sales engineering, where you'll support solution design across a wide range of technologies.

As a Junior Pre-Sales Engineer, you'll work closely with a senior Solution Architect and internal engineering teams, gaining exposure to customer engagements, technical discovery, and end-to-end solution design. This is a career-defining role for someone with a strong technical foundation who wants to transition into solution architecture and pre-sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Solution Architect in developing end-to-end technical designs for new and existing customers
  • Contribute to Statements of Work (SOWs), design briefs, and technical documentation
  • Research and validate hardware, software, and cloud options for proposals
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure solutions are deliverable
  • Assist in client meetings with technical discovery and clarification
  • Maintain internal documentation and contribute to solution design libraries

About You

  • 3–4 years in a project role within an Managed Service Provider
  • Exposure to Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, infrastructure, or device management
  • Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and core Windows Server services
  • Experience supporting or deploying Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Intune, Teams)
  • Understanding of networking concepts (subnetting, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs)
  • Hands-on experience in endpoint deployment or SOE (Autopilot, Intune, SCCM)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Eagerness to learn solution architecture and grow in pre-sales
