About this Opportunity
At the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) South Australia and Northern Territory, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As we continue to grow and strengthen our People & Culture function, we're excited to expand our Organisational Development team — an evolving area dedicated to fostering leadership, engagement, and continuous learning across our diverse workforce.
This is one of two roles that present a unique opportunity to build the foundations of a progressive, values-led OD and L&D function that supports our vision of a positive, high-performing, and inclusive culture.
As the Organisational Development Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and embedding organisational culture and capability. Working collaboratively across the business, you'll design and deliver initiatives that enhance leadership, employee engagement, and inclusion.
Specifically, you will:
- Design and lead leadership development and mentoring programs
- Facilitate discussions and actions to shape organisational culture
- Support organisational change through targeted capability-building for leaders
- Manage reward and recognition initiatives aligned with our values
- Embed diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles across all OD activities
- Adopt an evidence-based and continuous improvement focus to building OD initiatives for the organisation.
This role is ideal for a values-driven professional who thrives on building frameworks from the ground up, engaging with leaders, and delivering meaningful organisational impact.
Why Join Us?
This is an exciting time to join RFDS SA/NT as we continue to evolve and invest in our people. You'll be joining a growing and collaborative team where your expertise and ideas will directly influence how we develop, recognise, and support our workforce.

- Shape and grow the OD and L&D function from its foundations
- Work across the organisation to design innovative, inclusive programs
- Make a lasting impact in one of Australia's most trusted and iconic organisations
