Operating since 1963, Benara Nurseries is a Western Australian, family-owned and operated wholesale production nursery. We supply quality green life products to a wide range of clients and markets throughout Australia. With one of the most extensive ranges of any grower in the country, our commitment to quality, service, and customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently looking for a Nursery Hand to join our team and to undertake a variety of duties in the Nursery. We are seeking an individual who enjoys variety in their daily tasks with the main focus is to fulfil our customer orders. (for example, picking stock, performing quality control and preparing products for despatch).

Location:

  • For the first 4–6 weeks, this role will be based at our Wanneroo site.
  • After this, it will permanently move to our Head Office in Carabooda.

Hours:

The core hours of work are from 7:00am - 3.30pm Monday to Friday.

You will need to:

  • Be able to work outdoors in all sorts of weather conditions.
  • Be physically fit and to be able to lift trays above shoulder height.
  • Have an eye for detail.
  • Possess basic computer skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office and learn new systems quickly.

Prior experience is not necessary as full on the job training will be provided.
