Trade Assistant / Truck Driver

HVL Group specialises in the supply of products and services that focus on safe, reliability-driven maintenance to maximize the availability of our clients' assets. At HVL we are building a team with a positive cultural mindset.

We are currently looking for a motivated person who has a manual MR or HR license and is able and willing to do overtime and work on a weekend roster to join our Singleton team.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Minimum MR Manual Drivers License, essential for this role;
  • Safety conscious with a high level of understanding safe work practices, relevant to the mining industry,
  • Reliable with a can do attitude,
  • Willing and able to perform overtime and work weekends on a roster,
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Prepared to undertake a pre-employment medical.

Highly Desirable

  • Current order 43 Medical
  • Current site inductions
  • Forklift license

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Committed to working safety to company and client's procedures,
  • Good communication skills and turning up to work consistently.
  • Completing daily allocation of lubrication tasks in compliance with our customer's requirements,
  • Daily lubrication tasks include manual greasing of bearings, oil sampling, oil level inspections, oil top ups and changes and assisting tradesman with project work,
  • Delivery of Bulk Grease to mine sites in the Hunter Valley refiling onsite grease tanks,
  • Communication of work progress, delays and identified defects,
  • Completing documentation on-time and accurately,
