Overview

G.James Glass and Aluminium is Australia's leading integrated glass, aluminium window and door manufacturer and contractor. Our privately owned, family company employs over 2000 people with operations throughout Australia. We are currently seeking an experienced Truck Driver to join our team in the Newcastle region. In this role, you will assist our dispatch team with loading duties and ensure timely, safe deliveries to various job sites.

Responsibilities
  • Assist dispatch with loading duties
  • Ensure timely and safe deliveries to job sites
  • Support with manual handling and loading tasks as required
  • Communicate clearly and confidently to ensure tasks are completed safely and accurately
Qualifications
  • Truck driving experience with a current MR or HR licence is highly desirable
  • Strong safety mindset with a commitment to workplace health and safety practices
  • Physically capable and comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting
  • Willing to learn and able to take direction effectively
  • Customer-focused with a focus on delivering high-quality products that meet client needs
  • Reliable and punctual with a good attendance record
  • Physically fit and prepared to perform manual labour in support of deliveries
