About the Company
Our client is a long established, international and iconic manufacturing business with a truly global footprint. - Lead the resolution of audit findings (both internal and external), implementing sustainable remediation measures and best-practice frameworks.
- Collaborate with the Tax Accountant to ensure accurate preparation and timely lodgement of Income Tax Returns.
- Guarantee the timely and precise fulfilment of external compliance and taxation obligations, mitigating risk and ensuring audit-readiness.
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and the elimination of material discrepancies.

A CA/CPA qualified Finance Professional, you will be a decisive yet collaborative leader with a proven track record in a hands-on financial management role. Ideally coming from a background in financial reporting, you will possess strong and demonstrable experience across governance, tax, financial control and reporting.
Approachable and accessible, you will be comfortable in managing a lean team, working towards shared goals and espousing a culture of shared responsibilities and collaboration to achieve outcomes. A practical problem-solver, you will be someone who can use your analytical processing skills to balance the immediate reporting needs of the business with a wider ability to drive broader business improvements for the benefit of those both inside and outside of Finance.
As a hands-on leader, you will be comfortable working with the team to achieve results during high-pressure times as well as being someone who can utilise the quieter moments as opportunities for coaching and development, both within your own team and across the broader business.
Ideally, you will have a background in Financial Accounting as well as experience in managing a Tax function and will have honed a communication style which gives you comfort in presenting to all levels within a business.
Prioritising culture, fostering a high-performing and highly motivated team, you will both benefit from and espouse a working environment which encourages all to achieve their potential whilst working for an international business with very much a local feel.
This is a great opportunity for a talented finance leader to take their career to the next level with a great business.
