Great opportunity to join on a full time, 12 – month Fixed-Term contract as an Accountant in the Property Finance team focusing on Office portfolio. The role is for someone who is commercially minded and detail oriented. Someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality financial insights. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and technical accounting skills, stakeholder engagement experience, and a proactive mindset to support the Office sector portfolio.
The Opportunity
- Support Office Sector team in end-to-end portfolio budgeting, forecasting, and asset planning processes, delivering best-practice modelling and reporting across income, capital, leasing, and valuations.
- Business partner with internal and external stakeholders to provide end-to-end knowledge and translate financial and leasing metrics into meaningful insights to improve quality of business decision.
- Oversee financials and reporting of a portfolio of office assets delivered by outsourced providers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support review of property returns by inputting and reviewing forecast assumptions against external valuer's report assumptions, ensuring accuracy in underlying forecast models for growth rates, longer term forecast assumptions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across platform wide processes and reporting as well as support property transaction activities (disposals/ acquisitions).
- Ensure high-quality reporting to co-owners and stakeholders, maintaining strong governance and transparency.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business, Property, or Land Economics.
- CA or CPA qualified.
- 3–5 years' experience in financial or management accounting.
- Proficiency in Yardi and TM1 is highly regarded.
- Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to build and interpret financial models.
- Proven experience managing a diverse range of stakeholders and service partners.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, able to present financial outcomes clearly and concisely.
- Strong business partnering skills and the ability to build trusted relationships.
- Able to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Collaborative team player with a flexible and adaptable approach.
