Mine Rehabilitation Supervisor

Moranbah Queensland, Australia 3BB Full time $120,000 - $180,000 per year

We are seeking 2 x experienced Supervisors to join our team on a mine rehabilitation project at Goonyella Riverside Mine. These positions are based on a 7 days on / 7 days off day shift roster, offering great work–life balance with the option of FIFO or DIDO.

We are looking for motivated, safety-focused leaders who thrive in a dynamic mining environment and are committed to delivering quality outcomes.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a leadership position and make a positive impact on a long-term project whilst undertaking the following:

  • Supervising daily site operations including people, plant, and equipment, to achieve operational outcomes in safety, quality, performance, efficiency, and cost
  • Conduct shift handovers, prestart, and toolbox meetings with efficiency
  • Providing technical and practical support to operators
  • Ensuring team output and KPIs are on track
  • Maintaining and fostering a working environment that prompts safety in all that we do

Mandatory Requirements:

  • 3+ years in a mining environment - with proven leadership knowledge & experience
  • S123 & G2 certifications
  • Coal Board Medical (CBM)
  • Current QLD Drivers Licence
  • Certificate IV in Surface Mining Operations - highly desirable
  • Working knowledge of the Coal Mining Safety & Health Act and associated regulations and how they pertain to individual and supervisor obligations
  • Previous experience in the supervision of staff within an Open Cut mining environment
  • Operating skills on a wide range of Mining equipment
  • A strong commitment to safety with a proven track record
  • Rights to Work in Australia
