Senior Design Manager / Project Architect – Step Into Property Development

This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned
Design Manager / Project Architect
ready to transition into the dynamic world of property development. Ideal for an experienced Architect with
6–8+ years of local experience
in high-end boutique multi-unit residential and commercial projects, this role offers the chance to work across multiple sectors in a collaborative team where your expertise is valued.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects independently or as part of a team, managing time effectively and overseeing the construction phase with confidence.
  • Conduct master planning, strategic design, site feasibility studies, and development applications.
  • Deliver strong design development, construction documentation, and detailing using Revit.
  • Coordinate effectively with consultants and manage projects throughout construction, including site visits.
  • Apply contract administration knowledge and experience.
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, BCA, and Australian standards.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of construction details, joinery, and shop drawings.
  • Foster relationships at all levels with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Manage projects efficiently with strong time and project management capabilities.
  • Liaise with consultants, certifiers, and relevant authorities to ensure smooth approval of the Construction Certificate (CC)
  • Ensure all CC documentation aligns with the approved DA and meets BCA/NCC standards
  • Manage the submission process and respond to any requests for additional information related to the CC
