The Role

We are looking for a switched on, bubbly and enthusiastic Door Host /Maître d' to work at our Hurricane's Grill & Bar at Cronulla Beach.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ensuring the guests first point of contact is welcoming, relaxed and happy

· Adopt a sound knowledge of all possible seating plans

· Appropriately handle any enquiries and conflicts of reservations

· Have the ability to think on your feet to adapt to the customers preference when desired

· Manage a large volume of walks on top of a high number of reservations at peak times

· Manage a sufficient and easy turn around of tables to ensure minimum wait time on new guests arriving

· Communicate with management promptly

· Adhere to the company's hygiene, health and safety policies and procedures at all times.

Skills & Experience:

· Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.

· Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

· Experience in cash handling

· Understanding the RSA policy.

· Knowledge of hygiene, health, and safety policies and procedures.

Please note that you will be required to work a mixture of weekdays ,weekends & Public Holidays.
