Our restaurant is a buzzing, family-friendly local favourite, known for delicious meals, smooth service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We're looking for an energetic and experienced Front of House All-Rounder / Floor Leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and leads by example.

The Role

We're seeking a bubbly, confident, and hands-on hospitality professional who can confidently host, lead service on the floor, and support bar and coffee operations when needed. You'll bring leadership, personality, and attention to detail to every shift — ensuring each guest leaves with a smile and every service runs seamlessly.

Duties, Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Greet and host guests with warmth, professionalism, and a "can-do" attitude.
  • Lead and motivate the front-of-house team with strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Provide outstanding service across all areas — floor, bar, and coffee.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with guests, team members, and kitchen staff.
  • Maintain smooth table flow, cleanliness, and presentation throughout service.
  • Support bar operations, including cocktail preparation and basic spirit knowledge.
  • Prepare quality coffees to a consistent standard (barista experience required).
  • Foster a positive and supportive team environment where everyone thrives.
  • Display flexibility, initiative, and a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Ensure RSA standards and venue policies are upheld.

About You

You're passionate about hospitality and love creating memorable guest experiences. You're organised, reliable, and thrive under pressure — the kind of person who always notices the little details and keeps things running smoothly.

You'll bring:

  • 1–2 years' experience in a busy restaurant, café, or bar.
  • Strong floor and service skills, with a confident and positive attitude.
  • Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound knowledge of spirits and cocktails; wine knowledge is a plus.
  • Solid barista skills with experience in a high-volume setting.
  • Proven ability to lead, organise, and support a team.
  • Full weekend availability (required).
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
