The HSE Manager is responsible for providing health, safety, and environmental leadership across PCF projects. This role ensures compliance with legislation, certification standards, and client requirements, while driving a proactive safety culture across all levels of the organisation.

Working in a fast-paced construction environment, the HSE Manager partners with project and operational teams to identify and mitigate risks, manage HSE systems, and deliver continuous improvement. The role also requires influencing at both site and executive level, managing investigations, and coaching teams to achieve safety excellence.

Capabilities

The HSE Manager will demonstrate strong expertise in managing health, safety, and environmental systems within a construction environment, ideally with experience in formwork or major projects. They will have the ability to influence, advise, and communicate effectively at both site and executive levels, while providing practical solutions to complex safety challenges. A proven track record in incident investigations, auditing, and risk management is essential, along with commercial acumen and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

Required and desirable skillsets

Required:


• Minimum 10 years' experience in HSE management in construction, ideally including formwork or large-scale civil/infrastructure.


• Proven track record in safety leadership, investigations, and WHSMS management.


• Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health & Safety (or equivalent).


• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Desirable:


• Experience leading safety teams and mentoring advisors.


• Background in managing high-risk construction environments.


• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.


• Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
