About the Role:

We're seeking a Senior HSEQ Advisor to join our client, a leading construction and commissioning specialist with projects spanning energy and infrastructure.

Reporting to the Head of HSEQ, this role will see you provide senior-level guidance, oversight and influence across operations while driving continuous improvement in health, safety, environment and quality outcomes.

This is an opportunity to step into a visible, senior role where you'll shape safety culture, mentor operational teams and ensure compliance with legislation, client requirements and best practice standards.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of HSEQ systems, policies and procedures
  • Provide senior-level support and coaching to site and operational teams
  • Oversee audits, inspections, incident investigations and corrective actions
  • Mentor and deliver training, inductions and toolbox sessions to strengthen capability
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, client standards and industry requirements
  • Contribute to tender responses and client engagement from a safety perspective
  • Support subcontractor onboarding, compliance and performance management
  • Drive a proactive, positive safety culture through visible leadership and engagement

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years' experience in HSEQ roles, ideally within construction, energy or infrastructure projects
  • Diploma in Work Health & Safety minimum (or higher qualifications highly regarded)
  • Strong incident investigation skills (ICAM, Taproot, or equivalent desirable)
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage and influence at all levels
  • Excellent time management, organisational skills, and attention to detail
  • Proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to balance site and office demands
