Purpose of the Position

Manage the final stages of the mortgage process, ensuring that all necessary documentation and financial transactions are completed accurately and efficiently, whilst providing a high level of service to all parties involved.

Responsibilities of the Position

Go above and beyond

Always strive to go above and beyond the role to ensure the client has a great experience with the organisation. Provide a human touch and show the client you genuinely care when addressing their questions and concerns throughout the settlement process.

Communication

Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to provide updates on the status of settlements and address any inquiries or concerns.

Document verification

Verify the accuracy and completeness of all legal and financial documents related to the mortgage transaction.

Problem Resolution

Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the settlement process, working to find solutions that meet the needs of all involved parties.

Team Collaboration

Collaborate with other departments to ensure a coordinated and cohesive approach. knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance the skills of the settlements team.

Continuous learning

Stay abreast of changes in industry standards, lender processes and lender forms to reduce risk of error and increase client experience.
