About the Role

We are seeking a talented, customer-focused Administrator for an initial parental leave contract working full time hours, with a permanent role available to the right candidate.

The purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to Directors, Mining Tenement Managers, and Front of Office. Training for a lucrative career as a mining tenement management consultant available to a star performer

Duties and Responsibilities

This role combines regular scheduled administration tasks with interesting and exciting ad-hoc duties and projects.

  • Reception and office administration such as phones, mail management, and ordering supplies.
  • Basic accounts administration such as issuing invoices and logging payments.
  • Client file administration and data entry.
  • Generate monthly reports and upcoming client tasks reports.
  • Assisting with event planning and organisation.
  • Supporting the administration of exciting projects such as social media management, process and workflow automation, SharePoint and website upgrades (training provided as needed)
  • Providing exceptional customer service for clients and efficient office support.

About You

Our ideal candidate is organised and customer-focused, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively.

You will have a high aptitude for learning new processes and systems, with an interest in regulation and compliance.

  • Minimum 1-3 years of Administration experience in a fast-paced environment; banking, property management, or government/legal administrative experience is highly valued
  • No formal qualifications are required, however, a certificate in Business Administration would be well regarded.
  • Mature candidates, or graduates with administration experience and an interest in the resources industry are welcome to apply.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word) is essential. Experience with document management and database systems is preferred.
