Medical Administrator/Receptionist required for a busy and growing multi-specialist practice (Fourth Floor Surgery/Align Orthopaedics + Rehab) located at the Mater in South Brisbane.

The successful applicant will have outstanding organisational skills and the ability to work well within a team.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are seeking a new member to join our current Administration/Reception team on a full-time basis. The role is ideally suited to someone with a 'can do' attitude, and a willingness to learn new things in a fun and supportive, but busy team environment.

DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to our team of specialists, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating referrals
  • Answering incoming calls
  • Managing patient enquiries, emails and faxes
  • Management of patient clinics both in the rooms and off-site clinics (virtually)
  • Processing patient accounts including Medicare, DVA, WorkCover and 3rd Party
  • Typing of clinical letters and WorkCover reports

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • 1-2 years of medical receptionist or secretary experience
  • Experience with Genie medical software or similar systems
  • Dictaphone typing experience preferred
  • Ability to prioritise workload and ensure the reception area runs smoothly
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Ability to multi-task and problem solve in a busy environment

Salary will be determined by the candidate's previous experience and knowledge.
