About the position

The nib Newcastle Knights are currently seeking casual Game Day Retails Assistants to work at our home games at McDonald Jones stadium. Main duties will include set up and pack down of our merchandise stalls and merchandise sales.

As part of The Wests Group recruitment and assessment process, all candidates progressing to the next stage will be required to complete relevant due diligence and probity checks specific to the role. This includes, but is not limited to, a Criminal History Check, reference checks, and right to work verification via our company portal. All associated checks and costs will be facilitated by The Wests Group.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be a natural people person with previous retail/merchandise experience in addition to:

  • Excellent Customer service skills
  • Cash handling experience
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Attention to detail
  • Stocktaking experience
  • Honesty and integrity
  • Available for majority of the home games during the 2026 season
