We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Management Accountant. Join our Health and Education team and help play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, analysis, and accounting services while driving efficiency, accountability, and process improvement. Reporting to the Finance Manager you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.

What You'll Do

This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:

  • Support the Accounting Services team in a high-performance culture environment ensuring adherence to deadlines and Accounting Standards compliance.
  • Actively contribute to an accurate and timely end-of-month reporting, including reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis.
  • Proactively communicate with key stakeholders, providing clear and timely updates on financial performance, risks, and required actions.
  • Ensure financial obligations and reports are submitted ahead of deadlines, mitigating risks of noncompliance.
  • Assist with both external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and insights.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/ Finance, or a related field (required).
  • Mandatory CPA or CA with postgraduate degrees (i.e. MBA, Masters in Corporate Finance etc.).
  • Proven experience in financial management and accounting with a strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, EOM reporting, and data analysis.
  • Sound understanding of relevant accounting standards/guidelines, and applicable legislation.
  • Developed stakeholder management skills and the proven ability to develop, maintain and influence business relationships.
