About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Visualization Specialist to transform complex data into compelling visual insights that support business decision-making. You will work closely with analytics, product, and business teams to design dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations that clearly communicate trends, patterns, and performance metrics.

This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, creativity, and proficiency in data visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities
Data Visualization & Reporting

  • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations.
  • Transform complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity of data presentation.

Data Analysis & Interpretation

  • Collaborate with data analysts, business analysts, and data engineers to understand data sources and metrics.
  • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and key business insights.
  • Provide recommendations based on visualization insights to support strategic decisions.

Tool & Dashboard Management

  • Develop and maintain visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or equivalent.
  • Optimize dashboards for usability, performance, and scalability.
  • Implement best practices in data visualization and storytelling.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with business, product, and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into visual solutions.
  • Present data insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Support data-driven decision-making and strategy across the organisation.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on the latest trends and tools in data visualization and analytics.
  • Recommend enhancements to dashboards, reporting workflows, and visualization standards.
  • Maintain documentation of data visualization processes and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in data visualization, business intelligence, or analytics roles.
  • Proficiency in visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or R is an advantage.
  • Ability to translate complex data into simple, clear, and actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented, creative, and proactive in identifying opportunities to improve data visualization.
