A successful HR consultancy, working with clients across Melbourne. With a strong background in generalist HR, we provide intelligent and highly effective HR solutions to our clients to achieve the best out of their people.

About the Role

Partner with our key clients and join our friendly, supportive team. Work 3-5 days per week (depending on your preference) providing generalist HR support. Key projects include:

  • HR Strategy & Programs: Rollout and execution of HR strategies and key programs in alignment with organisation goals. Account Management, and client objectives.
  • General HR Support: Providing day-to-day support to team members and leaders on HR-related matters.
  • Employee Performance Management: Taking the lead on managing, coaching and advising performance issues.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Writing and refining policies and procedures to meet business needs and facilitate their rollout.
  • Coaching and Facilitation: Facilitate training and upskilling of key HR initiatives.
  • Onboarding, Intranet, and HRIS Implementations: Supporting the setup of company intranet and onboarding processes. Work alongside our team configuring HRIS' such as Employment Hero.

About You

  • A proactive HR professional, degree qualified in HR with at least 7 years of experience in HR generalist, advisory, or business partnering roles. You are confident working across different industries, managing multiple projects, and delivering practical solutions. Key attributes include:
  • A collaborative approach to rolling out HR strategies and supporting organisational change.
  • Excellent advisory and coaching skills to handle HR queries at all levels of an organisation.
  • Experience in developing and implementing policies and procedures.
  • A proven ability to manage employee performance matters with confidence and care.
  • Excellent communication, with highly effective interpersonal and influencing skills and a strong customer focus. Confident presenting to Board members and delivering HR advise to executive teams.
  • Absolute integrity, discretion and high ethical standards along with an understanding of and complete commitment to confidentiality.
  • Strong ability to efficiently deliver to client deadlines and effectively manage challenges and changing priorities, demonstrating professionalism and problem solving.
  • Exceptionally organised with a sharp eye for detail and a proven ability to navigate both granular tasks and strategic, big-picture thinking.
  • Proven ability to interpret and apply the Fair Work Act, providing advice to leaders and employees as well as an understanding of the application of policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with Employment Hero and similar HRIS platforms (an advantage).
  • Tech-savvy and confident across MS Office and other essential software, with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and systems.
