We are seeking a Human Resources Senior Compliance Leader for Boeing Australia, to be based in Melbourne or Brisbane on a maximum-term assignment until August 2027.

As Senior Project Implementation Leader, you will be responsible for end-to-end project implementation leadership of the Organisation's wage and entitlements governance and compliance.

The key deliverables of this important role is to ensure that milestones are delivered on time, within scope, and compliant with business objectives and regulatory frameworks. This includes identifying resourcing requirements and building a high-performing team to execute the scope of work.

This role will work across all Boeing Australia entities and key stakeholders include the Legal, Human Resources, Information Technology and Finance functions.

This position is expected to be based 100% in the office, with flexibility where possible or aligned to office requirements and is an exciting opportunity to be supported by a fantastic team of professionals.

About the Role:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of wage and entitlements governance and compliance initiatives, including developing and implementing centralised governance, change management, monitoring and reporting frameworks.
  • Interpret and apply recommendations from internal and external sources.
  • Test and validate solutions across all Boeing Australia entities.
  • Develop and implement a centralised pay compliance framework, with preventative and detective controls developed and documented for periodic measurement and compliance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the Finance and IT functions to map end-to-end pay compliance processes, including identification of critical controls, compliance checkpoints, RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed), and handoffs between teams.
  • Develop and review/update training/guidance materials for wage compliance and regulatory matters and establish regular frequency for review.
  • Manage work scope, timelines and budgets, including business case development for any specialized resource requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues proactively.
  • Engage, educate, and report to senior stakeholders within a complex matrixed environment.
  • Provide regular progress updates to executive sponsors and steering committees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale wage and entitlements compliance and advising senior leaders on wage and entitlements risk management.
  • Deep experience as a primary subject matter expert for pay practice compliance and risk, including demonstrated advanced understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and related enterprise systems.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Fair Work Act, Enterprise Agreements, Modern Awards, and reporting requirements.
  • A critical capability of this role is experience in integrating operational and long-term strategic improvements, effective governance, and ensuring that pay practices meet all legal and internal standards.
  • Full, unrestricted working rights in Australia
