Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant located in Greater Melbourne Area. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, overviewing junior accountants work, correspondence with clients and processing tax returns. The Accountant will also handle bookkeeping, monitor financial transactions, provide basic accounting & tax advice, and support the business advisory team in various tasks.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Financial Statement Preparation, Budget Management, and Financial Analysis
  • Skills in Tax Return Processing, and Compliance
  • Proficiency in Bookkeeping, Monitoring Financial Transactions, and General Ledger Management
  • Strong Analytical, Attention to Detail, and Problem-Solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience in the corporate and public accounting practices is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certification (CPA or equivalent) is highly desirable
