Position Overview:
Payroll Officer, Sydney
Civeo is a workforce accommodation specialist dedicated to helping people maintain healthy, productive and connective lives while living and working away from home. This key role with one of the world's largest integrated providers of workforce accommodation is to take responsibility for accurately calculating and making payments of wages and salaries and to ensure all related records are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all permanent and casual staff are paid according to their contract and award
- Providing payroll-related advice to all staff
- Preparation and processing of high-volume fortnightly payroll using ADP, Kronos, and Oracle
- Processing of new starters / termination payments / bonus reconciliation
- Payroll reporting, month end preparations and payments / End of Financial Year processing
- Ensuring legislative compliance
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of dedicated payroll experience
- High volume payroll environment
- Sound working knowledge of employment legislation and enterprise agreements
- Experience to include both salaried and hourly paid employees
Skills:
- Ability to interpret relevant awards and legislation
- Advanced Excel skills
- Logical reasoning and data analysis ability
- Strong customer service attitude and confident communication skills
