Dara Disability Services are Hiring We are looking for a bright, bubbly and organised Events Coordinator to join our team in the Marden Office, SA.

This role requires someone with a can-do attitude an organised, systems and processes kind of brain to assist in coordinating and booking our Dara Day Trips as well as admin tasks, creating event schedules, organising and assisting the Dara Social Hub Mentor creating and managing event bookings for our Dara Events and Activities, assisting with our social media accounts as well as other ad hoc office duties.

Working within this role alongside our Dara operations team you will be responsible for providing assistance in an inclusive and comfortable environment where teamwork and community is valued.

Location: Marden, SA

Main Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to our Dara Management and Coordination Team.
  • Activity planning and setup for Dara Events.
  • Ability to use your initiative and recognise how you can assist the team.
  • Availability for full-time hours 8:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday.
  • A highly organised mindset and ability to participate in activities related to marketing and our social accounts.
  • Bubbly personality with exceptional communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and process driven

Qualifications:

  • NDIS Worker Screening (we can assist with obtaining this)
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (we can assist with obtaining this)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module (we can provide links to complete)
  • COVID-19 digital certificate
  • National Police Check
  • Driver's License

Requirements:

  • Smartphone
  • Willingness to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to provide feedback to management on any issue or concern.
  • Positive can-do attitude.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within our business.
  • Highly organised and process driven
  • Excellent phone manner and customer service skills

Experience:

  • Admin experience is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Ability to speak English fluently.
  • Ability to work with different cultures, genders, ages and ability levels.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation ability.
  • Reliable and punctual with dedicated professionalism to job and duties.
  • Exhibit initiative, responsibility, and flexibility.
