Bindaree Beef Group's Myola Feedlot is a modern 20,000 SCU (Standard Cattle Unit) capacity feedlot situated in the heart of the "Golden Triangle" in northwest NSW and is 70km from Goondiwindi, 60km from Moree and 50km from Warialda. This role is essential in keeping our feedlot operations running smoothly by maintaining and repairing equipment, infrastructure, and facilities. Your key responsibilities are, but not limited to:

  • Conduct general repairs and maintenance on feedlot infrastructure, including yards, fencing, water systems, and machinery.
  • Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Welding and fabrication as required for repairs and improvements.
  • Operate machinery such as skid steers, tractors, and loaders when needed.
  • Work safely and follow company WHS policies.
  • Assist with other duties around the feedlot as required.

Your skills and experience required:

  • Experience in maintenance, repairs, or a similar trade (agriculture experience is a plus).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot problems.
  • Welding, plumbing, or general handyman skills are highly regarded.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to workplace safety.
  • A valid driver's license (machinery tickets advantageous).
