Five Star Outdoors, a proud South Australian, family owned and operated business since 2013 is currently expanding and seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional installer to join our team in South Australia but be available to regularly work away throughout regional SA, Victoria and NSW. We specialize in providing premium quality products and our installers have the unique opportunity to install the latest in outdoor blinds and roller shutters throughout the metropolitan and regional South Australia with the addition of occasional interstate work.

About the role

Be your own boss as a contractor to Five Star outdoors with invoices paid weekly, you will use your own vehicle and tools to complete installations of custom-made blinds and shutters in our customer's homes. This role would suit an independent installer who has their own registered ABN, insurance, public liability, vehicle and tools.

  • Be your own boss, work your own hours and check measure your own work.
  • Manage your orders provided to you by Five Star Outdoors.
  • Invoices paid weekly.

To be considered for the role you will:

  • Check measure, fit and install in customer's homes outdoor blinds and roller shutters.
  • Manage stock and quality control.
  • Install Australian made Roller shutters and electric/manual outdoor blinds for our clients.
  • Ensure that the installation is done correctly and to a high standard.
  • Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Can provide our customers with the expected level of 5-star service.
  • Own tools, phone, vehicle and have a registered ABN
  • Insurance and Public Liability as required.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in outdoor blind and roller shutter installation.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Must be available to regularly work away throughout regional SA, Victoria and NSW.
