HUB Electric is an Australian company representing a world leader in transformer design and manufacturing. With our commitment in quality, quick delivery and excellent customer service, we've gained a solid footprint in Australian market in large scale solar, wind, battery storage, as well as utility sectors.

Due to recent growth in the company, we are looking for an experienced project manager to lead our project team. You will need have extensive experience in large scale solar and wind farms, BESS and other HV infrastructures projects such as substations and transmission.

Key Responsibilities of this role:

  • Manage a group of project engineers and coordinators
  • Oversee the execution of transformer project deliveries from award to final completion
  • Maintain regular communication and engagement with various stakeholders to ensure a strong understanding of current project status and risks
  • Understand the technical aspects of our projects and be able to solve problems and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and in budget.
  • Identify potential project risks and implement appropriate strategies in response
  • Work with team to ensure project controls are followed to required standards
  • Identify areas of improvement of Project Management framework, including developing and establishing new standards for the way we deliver our projects
  • Establish and grow relationships with key customer leadership teams
  • Maintain knowledge of the energy industry to constantly understand HUB's market position
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Demonstrated experience managing projects within the energy construction sector
  • Knowledge of the Australian energy generation sector industry standards, technology, trends and customers
  • Experience in all aspects of Project Management
  • Demonstrated experience managing site and office based project teams
  • Experienced in using project management software
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related field.
