Our client is a leading integrated service provider that deliver essential facilities management, asset maintenance and infrastructure services across government, commercial and industrial sectors. With a long-standing reputation for safety, quality and sustainability, they manage everything from major public precincts to complex multi- site operations.

The Role

We're seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across multiple sites within the Greater Sydney area. This role manages a team of 15 handypersons and works closely with the Cleaning Manager to deliver a large-scale cleaning and maintenance programs. You'll be responsible for driving safety, ensuring contract compliance, and meeting performance KPIs while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. The position is 80% site-based and 20% office-based, requiring hands-on leadership and excellent coordination skills.

What You Need

Proven experience in leading and motivating teams, as well as developing strong, professional relationships with clients and stakeholders. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience conducting site-based inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards, identifying maintenance needs, and proactively resolving issues.

Strong organisational skills, problem-solving ability, and knowledge of facilities management best practices, including vendor management and maintenance planning, are essential.

Key requirements include:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in facilities management.
  • Ability to analyse and review performance data to inform decisions and improvements
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) or the ability to obtain one.

On Offer

This is a short-term contract opportunity based in Sydney, offering an immediate start for a duration of three months. The role provides a competitive hourly rate of $50–$55, reflecting your experience and expertise.
