About the Role

We're looking for a proactive, people-focused Recruitment Coordinator to support our recruitment team and help MuraConnect run smoothly. This role blends administrative expertise with a focus on culture, process improvement, and excellent service for candidates, contractors, and internal teams. Reporting to the Director of Recruitment, you'll also provide ad-hoc support across the business as needed.

What You'll Do

  • Act as the go-to support for recruiters: manage candidate submissions, track applications, update the CRM, and conduct reference checks.
  • Prepare job application packs, proofread and post job ads, and provide general recruitment support.
  • Coordinate calendars and interviews for recruiters, candidates, and hiring managers.
  • Administer contractor onboarding, contracts, payroll setup, and compliance.
  • Monitor contractor management, contract renewals, and contractor care initiatives.
  • Support daily office operations, shared inboxes, calls, and internal/external enquiries.
  • Assist in planning team events, wellness activities, and initiatives that foster engagement.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance productivity and candidate experience.
  • Champion a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong organisational skills with ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Confident in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and managing shared inboxes.
  • Positive, solutions-focused attitude with a collaborative mindset.

Desirable Experience

  • Recruitment, HR, administration, or coordination experience.
  • Familiarity with CRMs, DocuSign, pre-employment checks, Seek, and LinkedIn.
  • Experience with contractor onboarding, reporting, and scheduling workflows.
  • Knowledge of recruitment processes.
