We are a boutique village style not-for-profit facility located in Roselands, seeking an enthusiastic and proactive full-time Assistant Accountant.

About the role

Our staff work holistically to provide high-quality care and services to our residents based on interactions that are engaging, compassionate and considerate to their individual needs, preferences, identity, culture & diversity.

  • Process accounts payable and receivable, including resident billing and supplier payments.
  • Reconcile bank accounts weekly and assist with payroll when required.
  • Maintain reconcile of various accounts on regular basis.
  • Liaise with Services Australia and Medicare on payment related matters.
  • Assist with monthly reports, budgets, and audits.
  • Maintain ATO compliance assist with PAYG and BAS.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting or higher
  • 2+ years local experience in accounting, ideally in aged care or NFP sector.
  • Knowledge of different billing software is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MYOB/Xero and Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and integrity.
  • Eager to learn and grow.
  • Hold a current Police Check.
