We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our clients team on a 6-month full-time contract, based in their Sydney CBD office.

About the Role:

This role will support the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial processes. You will be working onsite (in office full-time) in a collaborative environment with a strong focus on deadlines and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing accounts payable and receivable
  • Bank reconciliations and expense management
  • Assisting with general ledger tasks
  • Supporting BAS preparation
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
  • Providing ad-hoc support to the finance team as required

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with Xero (essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Full-time availability for 6 months, office-based in Sydney CBD
