Permenant full time and Casual medical receptionist is required for Meroo Street Family Practice / Bomaderry Creek Health Centre.

This position would suit someone who likes to be busy and is good at multi-tasking.

The practice requires an experienced medical receptionist. The centre is open 5 days per week.

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum of one year of experience as a medical receptionist
  • Medical software experience or experience with integrated software programs
  • A desire to be learn about the health industry ( if no experience)
  • Resume demonstrating stable work history
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Contribution to team requirements
  • Must be able to multi-skill
  • Ability to comfort patients and anticipate their anxieties or questions
  • Must be friendly and want to work in a team environment
  • Proactive and "can do" attitude"
  • Must have an empathetic attitude towards patients and their concerns

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Best Practice software
  • Microsoft word, excel etc
  • Managing doctors' appointment books and foreseeable problems
