**Permenant full time / part time / casual medical receptionist is required for Meroo Street Family Practice / Bomaderry Creek Health Centre.**

This position would suit someone who likes to be busy and is good at multi-tasking.

The practice requires an experienced medical receptionist. The centre is open 5 days per week.

Skills and experience required:

- Minimum of one year of experience as a medical receptionist
- Medical software experience or experience with integrated software programs
- A desire to be learn about the health industry ( if no experience)
- Resume demonstrating stable work history
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Contribution to team requirements
- **Must be able to multi skill**:

- Ability to comfort patients and anticipate their anxieties or questions
- Must be friendly and want to work in a team environment
- Proactive and “can do” attitude”
- Must have an empathetic attitude towards patients and their concerns

Desirable:

- Microsoft word, excel etc
- Managing doctors’ appointment books and foreseeable problems

- Flexibility with days and hours but core practice hours are between 8 am and 6 pm. Overtime may be required.

Part-time hours: 27-38 per week

**Salary**: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
