About us:

Our Practice is located at John Flynn Private Hospital. We are looking for the right team member to join our team 3-4 days a week (No weekend work). Must be able to work between the hours of 8am-5pm. Have Medical Reception experience.

What we are looking for:

  • Medical Administration experience
  • Exceptional organisational and administrative skills
  • Experience with medical software e.g Genie (but not essential)
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as team
  • Confidence to work under pressure
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Self motivation
  • Have a friendly professional phone manner.
  • Must be able to multitask
  • Attention to detail is a must

But most importantly must be able to communicate and work within a team in a fast paced environment.

Duties will include:

  • Reading and entering referrals
  • Booking and rescheduling patient appointments
  • Greeting patients and answering telephone enquiries
  • Entering theatre list and operation reports
  • Scanning and filing
  • End of day Billing
  • Cash handling/eftpos payments
  • General Administrative duties
  • Some light cleaning duties
