About the job
The People Coordinator will work proactively with the People Partnering team, managers and employees to ensure that the operational people requirements of the business are met.
Reporting to Chief People Officer you will;
- Provide operational HR advice and support to leaders and staff, ensuring compliance with legislation, EBAs, Awards, and Orygen policies.
- Coordinate and deliver efficient administrative and HR support across the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and ongoing employment changes.
- Manage employee data and systems, maintaining accurate records, reporting, and documentation to support business operations and governance requirements.
- Act as a key point of contact for People-related enquiries, supporting payroll processes, credentialing, and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
- Provide support to the Talent Acquisition and Learning teams.
Skills and experience
The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in human resources management or relevant experience.
- Strong administrative or customer service experience, with excellent organisation, coordination and time management skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability, initiative, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
- Collaborative team player with strong communication skills, a customer service focus, and a can-do attitude.
- Values-driven, empathetic, and open to feedback, learning and continuous development.
