Trinity Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and qualified Library Technician – Junior Years to support the delivery of high-quality library and information services within a vibrant and caring learning environment. This role is responsible for maintaining library systems, collections, and digital resources while fostering an inviting space that inspires curiosity, creativity, and a love of reading.

This is a full-time, permanent position, commencing January 2026.

Position Description and Application Criteria

As the Library Technician – Junior Years, you will play an integral role in supporting the day-to-day operation and continual development of our Junior Years Library. Working closely with the Teacher Librarian, you will ensure the effective management of library systems and collections, assist students and staff in accessing quality information and digital resources, and contribute to programs that build a culture of reading and lifelong learning.

This position blends technical capability with strong organisational and interpersonal skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage cataloguing and circulation processes, maintain digital and physical collections, support information literacy initiatives, and contribute to engaging activities such as Book Week, Book Club, and reading promotion events.
