The Position

Orange Anglican Grammar School (OAGS) is seeking a visionary and servant-hearted Director of Teaching and Learning to lead Years Prep to Year 12 with academic excellence, and a deep commitment to Christian education. This executive role is pivotal in shaping the Teaching and Learning across the Senior School, ensuring alignment with the school's mission to seek Truth, pursue Excellence, and live a life fulfilled in Service.

Reporting to the Headmaster and serving as a member of the School Executive, the Director will lead regular teaching and learning meetings with relevant colleagues including Headmaster, Heads of School, Faculty and Stage Coordinators and teachers. The role includes oversight of teaching and learning programs, pastoral care frameworks, assessment schedules, and transition programs, while fostering a culture of professional excellence and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will be a strategic and values-driven educational leader who embodies Christian principles and demonstrates a deep commitment to holistic student development. With proven experience in executive or senior leadership, they will bring expertise in curriculum design, pastoral care, and school culture. The Director will inspire and mentor staff, cultivate strong relationships across the school community, and lead with integrity, resilience, and a collaborative spirit.
