About the Opportunity

Due to increasing demand and growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Co-Curricular Sports Coordinator (POR 1) to join St Columba College. This role fosters a strong culture of participation, teamwork, and physical wellbeing by leading, developing, and managing co-curricular sport programs across the early and primary years.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Be an advocate for and promote Sport and Physical Education within the community and encourage student participation across F-5.
  • Coordinate co-curricular Sport teams to participate in carnivals, knock out competitions and tournaments, run during school hours.
  • Organise and coordinate the F-5 annual Sports Day.
  • Coordinate Athletic and Cross-Country teams for participation in competitions.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to uphold and contribute to the Anglican and Catholic ethos of the College.

About You:

You'll need:

  • Current Teacher Registration in South Australia and relevant demonstrated knowledge and experience.
  • High level interpersonal skills to interact positively with the College community and be a positive role model and professional representative.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and able to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Willingness to actively and positively uphold and contribute to the culture and ethos of the College.

The successful candidates will be required to undergo our screening process, which includes a Working with Children Check, E-Screen, Applicant Declaration Form and RRHAN.
