The Successful candidate will work alongside the company Director and with the Project Teams to help estimate projects, manage the project tendering, budget control and other Contract Administration tasks.

This exciting opportunity will suit someone who is self-motivated with a can-do attitude and is willing to grow with our young, tight-knit team. For this exciting opportunity, you will be Trade/Degree qualified, carry a valid driver's license and worked in a similar role for 2 + years.

The role:

  • Working as part of the team to help deliver all aspects of projects
  • Estimating and compiling tenders
  • Scope of works and analyse trade breakdowns
  • Budget control, monthly claims and variations
  • Programming and coordination of subcontracts
  • Document control & quality control
  • Assist with tender negotiations, variations and contract administration.
  • Compiling WHS documentation
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, sub-contractors, suppliers and consultants

To be considered:

  • Ideally two years relevant local experience in residential or commercial construction as a CA
  • Live in the Port Macquarie area
  • Trade or Degree qualified
  • Must hold a Building or Construction trade qualification or Construction management degree
  • A strong level of ambition and motivation to succeed
  • Confident & collaborative communicator
  • High attention to detail
  • Knowledge in estimating and project management software
  • Proficiency in Procore or MS Project software is required
  • A thorough understanding of building elements and terminology used in construction
  • Planning, organisation and computer skills
  • Must have construction experience
  • Drivers license and own vehicle
