Seeking experienced Crane Operations Supervisor

Cranecorp Australia is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisorto come on board to support our operations in the Goldfields region. With two depots in the Goldfields - Kalgoorlie and Leonora - you will play a vital role in the region, maintaining our safety and operational standards.

This role is open to Goldfields residents and FIFO applicants ex Perth.

What we are looking for

  • Previous experience as a supervisor in the Mobile Crane Industry
  • Experience scheduling and coordinating teams with an emphasis on safety and service
  • Strong knowledge of mining operations and resources sector
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in crane operations
  • CO crane license
  • HR Truck license or higher
  • Ability to pass pre employment medical and DAS
  • National Police Clearance or ability to get one

Duties and responsibilities

  • Supervising crews of Crane Operators and Riggers to ensure work is completed to a high standard
  • Conducting pre-starts and organising the day to day activities of the crane team with a focus on safety and efficiency
  • Coordinate with clients and subcontractors to perform works and resolve any issues
  • Scoping out jobs and sourcing work for Cranecorp Australia
  • Liaise with operations planning and internal stakeholders to coordinate work
  • Ensure cranes receive routine maintenance and inspections
  • Maintain stock levels of necessary equipment for the crew to support projects
  • Ensure accuracy of reporting on all incidents including accidents and near misses
  • Assist with crane operation and rigging as required
