The Surface Operations Department are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Surface Operations Supervisor to join the team.  This is a key leadership role responsible for allocating and monitoring of shift activities of mining and ancillary personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the team by fostering a culture of safety and leading by example ensuring safe and quality production.
  • Inspire and motivate your team to achieve operational goals and exceed performance expectations.
  • Manage and coordinate a team of mine production operators ensuring targets are met and assisting in the field when required

  • Ensure adherence safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

  • Prepare accurate and timely daily production records

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualifications - Dozer, Excavator, Grader and Loader
  • Proven leadership experience in a mining environment
  • Proficient in computer-based maintenance systems, with Pronto experience highly regarded
  • Extensive experience in a supervisory position
