This is a full time 12-month fixed term contract for a parental leave cover commencing late November/early December 2025.The role provides administrative support to a team of Partners and Lawyers in the General Insurance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to hit the ground running and be part of a friendly, fast paced team.The role would be suitable for a law student or someone looking to gain experience in a law firm.You will be responsible for:opening and closing matters;saving documents to our document management system iManage;conflict searches and infotrack searches (company searches/title searches);credit card filing fees (chrome);disbursements, invoices and credit card charges;trust receipting / EFT's;court filing (Magistrate, County and Supreme);preparing briefs, ebriefs, letters and court documents (NOA's, Subpoenas, Affidavits etc);billing – include KPI monitoring;collating / serving documents by email & post;basic client reporting; andother ad-hoc administration duties as required.About YouYou will ideally have the following skills and experience:experience in a similar role is desirable;time management and organisation skills;strong attention to detail;excellent communication and written skills;ability to prioritise and meet deadlines;experience in using legal billing system and client management program (eg.
