Job Expectations

Build your career and Australia's future.

Not many people can say they are working on building Australia's future. With us you'll be doing just that, leaving a legacy for all Australians. Plus, there's equal employment, great training, and true flexible working arrangements.

A bit about your role

As the Senior Manager, Enterprise Technology Delivery Governance, you will lead the stewardship and continuous evolution of nbn's Enterprise Technology Delivery (ETD) framework. Reporting to the Executive Manager, Process and Enterprise Delivery, you will be responsible for shaping and uplifting the governance, processes, tools and delivery models that underpin enterprise-wide technology initiatives. You will bring clarity and cohesion to how ETD is understood and applied across nbn, ensuring it is embedded with consistency and purpose.

In this role, you will guide the vision and benefits realisation of the Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) tool, working closely with enterprise groups such as Commercial Finance to align business requirements and delivery timeframes. You will also lead the engagement of ETD stakeholder communities, fostering two-way communication streams that encourage feedback, shared learning and cross-functional collaboration. Your work will help ensure that nbn's technology delivery practices are not only robust and compliant, but also inclusive, transparent and future-ready.

A bit about you

You are a strategic and collaborative leader with deep experience in enterprise-wide delivery governance and portfolio management. With proven experience across complex, cross-functional programs, you bring a thoughtful and structured approach to planning, investment governance and stakeholder engagement. You are confident navigating ambiguity and thrive in environments where you can bring people together to solve problems and deliver meaningful outcomes.

Your communication style is clear and inclusive, and you know how to influence and align senior stakeholders while inspiring trust across diverse teams. You are passionate about continuous improvement and have a strong grasp of ETD frameworks and tools, using them to drive capability uplift and ensure accurate forecasting, reporting and value delivery. With your pragmatic mindset and commitment to excellence, you will help embed a culture of purposeful technology delivery across nbn.
