Job Description
The Role
We're seeking an experienced
Governance Manager
to lead and embed best-practice governance, risk, and compliance frameworks across our organisation. This is a senior management role reporting directly to our CFO and you'll join our Senior Leadership Team.

You'll take ownership of our risk management frameworks and ensure our governance structures effectively safeguard our organisation against risk, whilst allowing innovation. Key strategic priorities include embedding our new risk management framework, overseeing data governance improvements, and implementing a robust contract management system.

This role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful change in an organisation that's shaping Australia's social research landscape while working with senior stakeholders to delivery impact at the highest level.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own our enterprise risk management framework and report to the Board
  • Develop risk assessments and key risk indicators with business leaders
  • Oversee SRC's compliance program across ISO20252, ISO27001 and Privacy Act obligations
  • Lead Board-mandated governance initiatives and act as a trusted risk advisor
  • Work with the project team implementing enhanced data governance processes and system implementation
  • Lead and coach team members to foster high-performance culture
