Your New Role
As the Acute Admissions Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of administrative functions within the Emergency Department. You will lead a team dedicated to delivering timely, high-quality support for patients and staff. In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate and lead the administrative team, including rostering, payroll processing, and workforce planning.
  • Oversee day-to-day administrative functions such as data entry, mail, record management, and reception duties.
  • Liaise with clinical, human resources, payroll to resolve administrative and staffing matters.
  • Support recruitment, performance development, and training of administrative staff while fostering a culture of quality, safety, and teamwork.

  • A collaborative approach to leadership with a focus on developing others and improving processes.
  • Proficiency in hospital information systems such as FirstNet and HBCIS..
